I was out shooting Arcade Fire tonight for Soundvenue. I could honestly write several paragraphs on tonights show. Normally I let the photos speak a thousand words but I'll add a little more to it today.
As far as the concert went, no contract to sign, amazing light and visual show. Arcade Fire musically are one of the most talented group of unique musicians around. In the hipster world of carbon copy bands trying to copy both style and music Arcade Fire were a breath of fresh air when they first came onto the scene and haven't changed there ways for the better. They are a band that onstage actually look like they enjoy playing music. Who wouldn't, but I think most bands get caught up in the scene and forget to have fun, its a lifestyle, not for these guys, its something they were born to do and seems they need to do. Their lyrics are that which rival bands like The National for the fact they take you to a world so real and relative with several mixed emotions but filled with so much joy with that dark twist. It all seems so effortless. I've had a great privilige to witness many great concerts this year but so far this tops all. Blown away. View the photos here
