This last year has been a busy one with great progress taking me all over Europe and hope 2012 can offer some of the same opportunities and more. Heres a run down of the year.

At the start of 2011 I started shooting for Danish band Our Broken Garden after meeting with Anna Brønsted at her solo show at the Copenhagen Jazzhouse. After a month of the first meeting I went on the road with the band as they toured the Les Femmes s’en Melent festival across France. Taking us to Belfort, Paris, Grenoble and Cluses.

In May I met up with Our Broken Garden at an apartment on Christianshavn, Copenhagen to document rehearsals for their set at Domkirke, Aarhus for Spot Festival. 

 

 

Late May took me to Barcelona for Primavera Sound. I can't say enough about this festival for the location, weather and the line up they deliver each year. This year I got to Barcelona a couple of days before which gave me time to soke up the sun and enjoy the warm up days located across the city at Poble Espanyol next to the Olympic village. Sadly I didn't take my camera to this event. Here are my highlights.

At the end of October I was assigned to shoot the first Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris for Pitchfork. This festival in the coming years will keep growing and will be an important date in the music diary. The location was North East Paris in an old slaughter house. Here are the highlights.

A few weeks back I was out shooting Kaiser Chiefs as part of a They Shoot Music Don't They session. During the session I turned my Go Pro camera onto us shooting the session to document both myself and Michael's work. Apploigies for the sound, it was taken within the waterproof housing. But you get a different view of the session.
